Alrite to make a long story short my tranny is slipping bad and nissan is replacing a new one 4 me so I decided to play around with it and took off the knock sensor and now the check engine light is on. I reset my ecu by disconnect the battery and the light is still on so I went to Autozone and they checked it out and it has no codes what sould I do. Sorry for the long post

 

stop playing with the engine....what else.. my .02.... disconnect the battery agai for a few hows... if that doesn't work .. go to the stickies and perform the HOW To on a 2002 ECU

 

disconnecting the battery doesnt reset the ECU on the 5.5 gens like it does on the 5th gens....you're going to have to use the 2k2 ECU reset procedure as lontar mentioned above...
