weird clunking sound from suspension

after i install my tein h-tech springs, after driving around for a lil while, i started to hear a clunk sound from the right side. i only hear it when i turn my wheel all the way to the left or right, i hear more often turnin to the right not to often when i turn to the left. you guys have any clue what it could be??, checked all bolts, they are tight and cv shaft isnt ripped on either side everything looks clean, doesnt seem like there is anything wrong with the suspension.

Do you have camber plates? If so, make sure that the bearing on the plate, that the strut shaft goes through is lubricated. Check to make sure that the springs are seated correctly on the upper mount.

... and lower mount... that's what happened to me... popped it back in and no knocking sound since. Although, mine was more of a soft knocking at low speeds over small bumps.

Hey my brother has the same thing on his oldsmobile, he began to hear it after he went to the wheel alignment shop. We took off the axile and replaced it with new one sence the old one barely was turning, so we put the new one on and still he had that same sound after turning the wheel all the way. I know what you mean, my bro has the same broblem, and it does sound wierd.

this is common problem if the car has been lowered. check out my other posts on this subject. if you lowered the car with the new springs all it is is basically, the limiter (that limits how far left or right you can turn) is not properly aligned. maximas use a little platic cap to make sure that the metal doesnt grind with the metal, but this cap frequently brakes off. when this happens, itll sound like youre dragging a coathanger or somethin. if only one cap breaks off, youll only have the noise when you turn extremely in one direction. try greasing up the little limiter grooves.
