Then if you're an auto, VB mod...

Other possibilities: RSB, LTB, BBK, cat-back....

you want to put exhaust and such ... why not headers? They'll do much more than just a cat-back ..

I got a warranty through my credit union, and it doesn;t requrie Nissan to service it. My Nissan service is cool as hell too because as long as the O2's are bunged in somewhere, tehy don't say jack, the first time I took it the 02s were in my trunk, not the main ones but the otehr 2 that moniter the cats, and he said well, if you jsut bung those in somehere, I'll service it under warranty, BTW I have an extended warranty to 140k/5yrs.

Not a full refund, and it depends on the terms.... its a prorated refund, meaning they refund ya the unused portion left on it. If you've already gone 3 years, they'll prorate the remaining 4 years and cut ya a check for that. Depends on who your warranty is with and the terms ya have on it. I'd call to check though.

car just turned 2 last month. i got like 27 and change on it.
i bet as soon as i cancel the warranty some isht will happen. i have it might as well keep it.. as long as dealer dont hassle and try to weezle their way out of it.
but i got like 1,300 to spend on the car.. so decisions decisions.

the LTB essentially does for the front of the car what the RSB does for the rear....flattens out the front end (less lean into turns), reduces front chassis flex, and tightens up the steering response. My favorite mod that I've done, by far.....

Pioneer AVIC N2...although I would sooner suggest the Eclipse AVN before that. Your car can look great...but you will be IN the car more than looking outside of it.

Buy the hottest lookin' hooker you can find and act like you're a **** star for one night! Then save some money for whatever mods you want. Just make sure you double bag it, so you can enjoy your mods for a long time to come!

Give her a couple of inches of ur manhood she will get u out of that license status.

Anywayz, back to topic:

do not get body kit in NY.........(mine already has quite some scratches from normal driving, way too many pot holes and A$$hole drivers in here)

Pioneer avic-n2 is a nono if u must watch DVD's on the go, Get eclipse from Don (pearl96max).

and i already have pioneer 12disk cd changer in the trunk... is the wire compatible to connect the pioneer cd changer with eclipse HU?

no, the pioneer cd changer will not work with eclipse.

But do u really need a cd changer when u got a mp3 player?

BTW, you can also hoook up a rear view camera on the eclipse, as a matter of fact you can hook up a rear view camera on almost any screen.

Eclipse also do offer a OEM rear view camera specially for their units like pioneer.

let me give u a lil break down on the 2 units (since i was really considering the N2 before the eclipse)

Eclipse pros:

-5v pre out, pioneer cannot even come close to this sound quality.
-1 cd slot and 1 dvd slot means u don't have to swap cds when u wanna use navi.
-1 year theft protection along with 3 year warranty (theft protection comes in handy in NYC)
-looks pretty much stock, so less chance of theft.
-can watch dvd while driving (just have to ground parking wire) N2 cannot do this due to the new gyro sensor, as soon as it senses movement, DVD is stopped, even when parking wire is grounded.

pioneer pros:

-Has a WOW factor (the different set of displays showing G-forces for example) very good for show-offs
-Gyro sensor gives you more accurate positioning of ur vehicle in navi.
-XM nav traffic is really good in a city like NY (gives u real time traffic info on ur navi, but u gotta buy separate receiver and have to pay monthly)
-MP3 player plays faster than eclipse (eclipse lacks any buffer memory for mp3s, whenever u change songs, it takes like 3 seconds to play).

The pionner will definitelly amaze the crowd in ur car over the eclipse.
So if ur going for looks, go with the pioneer, if ur going for overal quality, go eclipse.

And if u think some herb is about to steal ur $hit, go with ecplise, they will replace it for 1 year if it gets stolen as long as you had it installed by a authorized dealer.

You can ask Don (pearl96max) in the audio forums for more info.

I'd go with the AVIC. I have the N1 and I love it. I can only imagine how sweet the N2 is. Stillen rear and front lips are next for me.

if you want to blow you wad quick you can get the headers and exhaust (def cattman) but I'd say spread it out get a few things rather than on big one...the VB mod is crazy since first gear is a jerk even going 2 mph..I would def take a ride with someone who has it first then decide..

I've seen his car and the LTB is already pretty low with his Maxspeeds... he seems to think that my Progress drop should still be able to give a LTB enough clearance, but any lower might be pushing it, plus your car looks pretty slammed there...

thanks for the breakdown NYghettoGLE,
since i already have a cd changer, if i do go with N2 i wont really need to swap cds or dvds in order to use navi. i wonder if i can play music from the changer while the navi is in operation.

another thing . i wonder if N2 will play DVDR disks with MP3's on them ...since its a dvd drive. can fit so many more MP3's on a dvd disk.

and if you dont mind ..since you did the extensive research ...what does each system run about?
thanks for the info.

Man you could get a Kickass carputer that could do twice as much for less than $1500. More of a wow factor also. I really dont understand why people spend that much on a dvd headunit. Just my 2 cents...
