I spoke with Brain on Wednesday. He was saying the new headers are going to have a few changes (as most of you know). If you don't know the changes, you can search around here because I seen them in a thread or just give him a call. I told him to let me know when they are going to be out, so he added me to a notification list. Anyway, he believes the headers should give 3.0 a gain of 20-25 and 3.5 a gain of 25-30. Don't quote on this because Brain has yet to do a dyno on these, these are just what he expects. It could be more or less (highly doubt it would be less). He also said they are being made out here in Cali, rather than NZ.

I hoesntly don't think the 3.0 has much more to gain with headers. The 3.5L also gained a good bit with the 1st gen ...

I have dynos of a 2002 6 speed with Hotshot headers if ya wanna see em. PM me your email address and I'll send ya the files that I got from Larrio.
I understand what your saying, but what I meant was I wanted to see a dyno of a car w/ hotshot and compare that w/ someone else who has cattman.

I talked w/ Brian about the headers also. He said they should also be almost entirely ss.

Yeah, I understand that as well, but it would be a rough comparison at best. You'd at least have to find 2 cars with similar mods, other than the headers, to compare. Even then, you'd have to know their base numbers w/o headers for an accurate gauge, then there's the difference between cars, ie, some cars make more HP than others stock, respond differently to mods, etc etc.

Btw Bruce, you have mail.

He told me a few things over the phone about the new headers when ordered my springs, RSB and FSTB. If you call he will break everything down to you. We talked for about 30 or 40 minutes.

I'll never be rid of your nagging to get headers now will I?

I'm looking at a RSB, motor mounts, shifter and other bushings, etc... see what kinda deal I can get if I get everything together....
