slotted rotors...hum???

if you want these for "performance" don't waste your money. Unless you are road course racing or driving down large mountains all day, there is NO advantage to having either slotted or cross-drilled rotors. For typical daily driving, the idea of cd or slotted rotors being superior is an urban legend. can we all for once be honest and admit that they are only "for looks".
If performance is what you want, Get high-quality "blanks" and a high-quality pad (I would suggest Hawk HPS).
And yes, most cd and slotted rotors are very noisy, though it varies depending on what kind of pad you use and how well you "bed" the pads.

this is a difficult topic to decide whats best since most have only dealt with what type of rotor besides stock....
i'm def do slotted rotors (more for looks than performance) just debating betwen i and frozen...but i agree that great pads make the difference between what warps and doesnt. I seen a lot less issues/complaints from those using great pads. (hawk, etc)

can you please stop giving out false information about slotted/drilled rotors....you've been called out on this by people with the slotted/drilled rotors, and we all notice an increase in performance, stop giving out false info
