irish44j,

Nice looks and a decent price with the installation. I see that you have been autoX...so when are you gonna buy the SFC's?

I've been going back and forth recently between adding the SFC's or going with a structural foam in the subframe, which has almost an identical effect, according to people who have done it (none here on the org though)....and is significantly lighter weight....only problem with the SSF is that it cannot be removed (ever)....I'll probably decide later this summer, trying to work on the house for a while here (trying, being the operative word)

In this picture what happened to the brace that goes under the cat?? In the other pictures its there but not this one. I only ask because I dont know if I sould remove mine cause the pipe its it a little at higher RPM's.

it's there....just hadn't been put back on when I took this picture (nor had the rear cross-brace)....I haven't had any banging issues at all. If your pipe is hitting it, you may want to consider getting new hangers...

it might also be the design of the aftermarket y-pipe. When I used to have a old 1st gen stillen y-pipe, the small flex section was designed only about 2 inches from the flange that bolts up to the cat. I had to remove both the brace underneath the cat and the b-pipe cause it banged around with that y-pipe.

Does the brace underbeath the cat serve a purpose?? It looks kinda sturdy so I am thinking twice about removing it. Like a body brace or something? The brace under the b-pipe also hit but I took that one off cause it looked like it surved no purpose.
