g2 paint suggestions, how long to wait?

hey guys im gonna be painting my calipers black tomorrow.....for the ones that have done it, how long is the wait for it to dry?? how long did you guys wait before you drove the car. I know it says 24 hours. but im sure some needed their cars before that time, Im just wondering the shortest time for me to start driving again. time is an issue...... thanks guys!

G2 recommends 24 hours, but we've gotten away with a couple hours and the paint is still holding up excellent.

I did two cars with two coats each (one red, one gold) and both times I did it and waited 2 - 3 hours before putting the tires back on, then let them sit overnight. Just make sure the paint is well past being tacky dry before you drive. No peeling (HUH? ) but it will chip if a rock or mechanic hits it with something.

Nope, I cleaned them with brake cleaner plus water and soap. Let it dry overnight and painted the next morning. waited like 3 hrs and put the tires back.. everything fine. that was like 4 months ago, last weekend I saw a few peeling area in them....

I painted my calipers two weeks ago, and they were so corroded that using a steel brush and soap/water..whatever, was not enough. i ended up getting out a drill and attaching a steel brush to the end of it, went over all of the brake parts. just letting you know it could take some extra work

Is G2 paint better than Duplicolor? Reason I'm asking is that I bought some black Duplicolor a few weeks ago, which comes with caliper cleaner, and I'll be doing this same project this weekend. Preparing for my powerslot/axxis combo that I just got in the mail.
