Yakima Roof Rack measurements

I lost my installation instructions from last year. Anybody know the measurements between the front Q tower and the rear as well as how far off the front window it is suppossed to be?

they don't need to be precise (trust me, I've sold Yakima and Thule stuff for almost 10 years now), but for a general idea of what the foot/bar locations are, perhaps this pic of my Thule rack will help you out.....(my bars are close to the "correct" position)

front window:

locations are the same for Yakima and Barrecrafters racks.

addition: the front bar goes "roughly" an inch behind the front end of the sunroof, if that helps...

Thanks guys, I threw it on and it seems OK. The front doors hit the rack when you shut them though. I'm sure it will chip away at the inside of the door. Any suggestions?

generally this is going to be the case with Yakima, since each of their (about 100) clip kits (aka "Q" clips) is made to fit several cars, not just one (as a money saver) - so the clips are not always as precise a fit as Thule clips, which are made specific to every car and model (they have like 400 of them)....

don't worry though, it won't hurt the door. You might want to touch it up with a little paint every so often, but it shouldn't do any real damage.
