My 5.5gen GXE and friend's Prelude at OU (8 Pictures)

I just installed some Sprint springs (just the front) on my Maxima recently, so I decided to go take some pictures of it before I take them off. I think the drop looks good, but the ride quality is not worth the appearance enhancement, IMO. My friends don't think that it's rough, but compared to my Maxspeeds, they are indeed, harsher. My Maxspeeds will be going back on very soon. Enjoy the pictures.

Last, but certainly not least is my friend's Prelude with old-school 3-piece Racing Hart C5 wheels, which he got for $75:

Thanks, guys for the compliments! It has made my day. For the people that don't know what camera I'm using, it's a Canon 300D/Rebel with a Canon 10D firmware hack (custom settings of 10D enabled) mated to a Canon EF 28-105 F/3.5-4.5 II USM lens and Canon EW-63II lens hood and Hoya UV filter .

Damn Dude, can you come down to Hotlanta and take some pics of my car? Really good work!

Any reason you don't have fogs? It's probably a GXE and came that way but I'm just asking if you had plans to put them in or not.

aliti19- it's probably the camera that's making the car look good, because my car is just an average Maxima.

UGAd13- Taking pictures is what I do when I'm bored. I would love to take pictures of your car if you were closer. I don't think I am getting foglights anytime soon. I am still saving up for some Hotshot headers.

DragonMaxima- I must admit that I am a camera geek. People are into different things, like video games. Photography does it for me.

2kprlmax- If you want my opinion, the Nikon D70 will give you cleaner pictures at 100 ISO, but it is a much harder camera to use. At higher ISOs, the Canon and Nikon should be very similar. The most important thing is the price. I got my camera for $650 awhile back. As you know, the D70 is close to the $1000 price range. It is proven that the D70 is a better camera, but is it worth the extra couple hundred? The answer is up to you.

Car looks phenomonal i dont know if its because of the camera or lighting but that car shines like crazy. Slap some fogs in there and you are good to go.

yo, i'm rocking cracked fogs, cause they keep on cracking, and i have another set of cracked fogs just building up dust. now, i am gettin very annoyed that every picture i see of your nice a$$ car doesn't have fogs...so how about you pay shipping, and i send you the fogs, the fog switch, and the relay, for free.. at least the car will look someone complete. PM if you want it.

First of all, thanks for all the compliments!

Epacy- Eric, that's not a CF hood. It's the reflection off of the green sign above.

ayjayaye- I took a picture of my camera with a camera that I bought my girlfriend (Canon A70).

maximo-SE- the Canon 20D is my dream camera, in which I cannot afford. Sometimes, I think about selling my SSR's to buy one, but then my car wouldn't be picture-worthy anymore...

BlackBIRDVQ- it's all about the practice and reading up on techniques. That camera has a lot of potential. In no time, you will be able to master that camera.

well if you ever plan to sell 'em, i'm first in line jk, i know you wont, but it's worth a shot anyway!

I haven't waxed my car with NXT in a couple of months, but usually after every wash, I use RainX Fast Wax to keep the car shiny. I washed the car on Saturday, but I was out of Fast Wax, so I just dried it like I normally do with the Absorber. I finished it off with some tire shine. This time, my friend with the Prelude put some Black Magic tire gel on my tires for me. During the shoot, there are bird droppings and a layer of dust on the car.
