Ran over curved metal tube on highway
i was going down 95 to work goin about 75-80 and the car in front of me runs over something in the road but i wasnt thinking quick enough to try and switch lanes but i did try to hit it in a way that would do the least damage. The tube was probly 3-4 feet long and curved. i run over it on the right side and i hear a big thunk as it hits under my car. Im still rolling and no tires went flat so i pull off onto rt 1 and then a gas station, i didnt see any damage but looked at it again at work. There are 2 dents that i can see, both are on the right side, midway, of the car on the under side. One dent is about an inch on wht looks like just a guard (maybe someone can tell me what it guards, my guess is the gas tank) and there is a 2 inch scratch on the thin metal piece that runs on the side under the car, the same piece where you put a jack for a new tire. Then when i was goin down rt 1 there was pieces of wood and styrofoam on the road and some guy was trying to pick it all up and i ran over some foam. Couldnt believe it, hopefully thts all the damage, some people are just really dumb
