window up/down button

anyone know if I can get the button circled in the picture by itself, or is it only sold as part of the whole window control assembly? also, can I replace the non-Auto button with Auto button and have it work right? (my 2k GLE only has auto button for driver window)

It's sold as a complete set...your best bet is to scour eBay or get one from a local junkyard.

As far as switching the buttons is concerned, yes, if would work, but it is a rather huge PITA to do so.

bummer, my button is broken and there's nothing wrong with the rest of the panel. there's not many Maximas around here, but I'll check some local yards.

I'm not sure how deep in NV Sparks is located, but if you're willing to drive to Roseville, CA, I'm pretty sure Autogator (junk yard) will have the part. If not, you can try to have them ship one to you.

if i can remember corrrectly, that button has a ball bearing and copper plates ( not sure what they are called) you should open it up and see if the bearing is out of place, or if the copper things need cleaned. i had a problem with my drivers side, and i was able to fix it..
