out on my maxspeeds got one question

my question is that on my right strut when i turn my wheel to the right, at the top of it i can see it will stop, then let loose with a popping sound. the car drives fine, but when i compared the right and left struts, the left one works fine but the right one does not. i got a little better after i loosened the cap screw and the three strut bolts, then put them back snug. has anyone else had this problem? and suggestions, i ask because i would like get it fixed and to be able to know what i did so i dont' do it on my friends 02 this weekend. thanks

Did you compress the right strut when the spring was off of it? If it doesn't rebound as fast as your left one, then it is blown. What you are hearing is probably strut knock, which occurs when a strut is worn/blown. Another thing it could be is worn top hats, like Lance has.

i fixed it, it was out of "phase" Bensmax00 told me about it last night and i took it off and looked at it today and saw that the part that says out was in the wrong spot. soi realined it today and the noise is gone. and i love the look and the ride

I'm glad you've figured out the problem. I didn't think about the spring not being completely seated in the spring seat. I can't wait to see it.
