Sheesh, the Max's only 1700 miles young and already a reason to go to the dealer. Has this happened to any of you all? With my car lowered and rims, would I have problems with the dealer? Also, what do you recommend that I try to get the dealer to fix alongside with the ABS? (which TSBs?) Sigh...hope the service will be quick and troublefree.

I don't believe there are any ABS light TSB's, but I could be wrong. Check the National something-a-rather link in the TSB thread.

If you don't find one, I suggest that you put your stock stuff back on before going to the dealer because they are definitely going to blame the springs and wheels.

I wish you luck.

Kev...that's what I was wondering about. Mechanically, do they have a foot to stand on if they try to blame it on the springs and rims? Are they even related? When it comes to the innerworkings of a car, I'm definitely a newbie.
Can anyone shed some light on this because I really want to get this fixed without a hassle.

The springs and wheels should not affect your ABS light unless your installer messed around with the sensor. The springs and wheels are so close to your sensors/lines that the dealer will definitely blame those.

Since I got them installed instead of doing it myself, it's pretty much going to go to the dealer as is because it would cost too much to take them off and put them back on. What do you think I should say to the dealer to persuade them to fix the problem? Man, it's looking more and more like it's going to be a painful experience...

Hmmmm..... you can try a dealer, but if they say no then take your car to another dealer. Not the most efficient way, but it'll save you from reinstalling the stock stuff.

Or, take your car to a shop and have them take a look.
