i recently bought a 2002 max. I have no idea what mods to start with. Please anyone?

 

take a look at the pics and decide what's important to you...performance or looks...i'd start with rims and springs first, then once you've addressed the cool factor, then pay some attention to the go and handling and stopping. once you've done that the remainder of the asthetic things can follow. thats my take. just my .02 everyone's different

 

i am trying to get a hold of a new grill for my maxima (year 2000, 5th gen). As almost solid looking one as seen on the first page in this thread. Any suggestions

their Katana Inspires - i think they are 8" wide. i just picked them up used this weekend so im not sure. might even be 7.5" wide
235/35/19 is the tire size

I dont like the hood so I'm not getting it but I dont think I will be keeping the trunk as well..I have the AE rear OEM sides and Stillen front end

Thats right. Canadian AE maximas didn't have the lip kit. I guess this reflects the need in American Culture to be superficial lol.

My wife has a 02 and I just got her a set of 04/05 18" wheels. I see alot of you guys are running 235/40s on your cars but you also have them lowered. My wifes car is not lowered. What is the biggest size I can run on it. I don't want 235/40s because I think they might look to small. Can you guys helpme out.

I just got my 6000k HID fogs and 6000k DR2 bulbs on. I also blackened out my headlights and installed my DDE's that have been sitting in my room since Christmas. Unfortunately I broke a ring so I have to get a replacement. Other then that everything turned out nice

I had H&R springs all around with my Illuminas, but put some Tein H-Techs up front 2 weeks ago and just put on my 18x7.5 Racing Hart Evolution C5's with 235/40/18 Toyo Proxes FZ4...just took one picture so far...I'll put up more later.

 

Krupp how low is your front? I don't know why it's not completely leveled up with the rea. I think it's because you have vq30, and the front is lighter then vq35. Well the drop still looks awsome, defenately better then before.

 

That, and I'm a manual which is lighter than automatic...and my rear H&R is def lower than normal so all of that combines to create the look...I don't mind it tho I kinda like it the way it is.

 

Just lowered my car a little bit more now that I am on D2's.

 

Such nice cars guys! I want to put Coilovers in, but I drive my car everyday and don't have a place to fix problems anymore

i have wait for about 3-4 months to install my front and rear lip....well, today after i got from school, it was around 80F, and I couldnt wait any longer to install the lips....here are the pics.....
(they're not painted yet, they'll be in 2-3wks, when i get couple paychecks.....)
"TEIN" sticker by the front door is also off, i have taken it off rite after i took these pics......( dont know why i had it on, looks ugly to me)
