Love the motor.
Hate the slush box auto trans.

Hate the resale value.
Love the fact that it's pretty easy to do your own maint.
Hate the fuel economy ( low 20's )
Love the comfort and steering wheel controls.
Hate the fact that I see a purple spark everytime I get out and touch metal even if it's 20 feet away! I've learned to touch metal while getting out. The bigger your behind the bigger the shock

considering my past cars lol( 88 RX7, 88 wrangler, 93 prelude, 78 CJ5, 75 impala)...this one is like riding in a BMW... everything in this thing is better than my previous car/cars(gas milage, comfort, resell(well except for the jeeps)..... oh and this things turning radius is way better than a land yacht.....hence my user name lol... but i do notice the paint chips...my maxima was a salesmans car, so its high on highway milage, and my front bumper has a gozillion white chips in it .... 112k miles so far and no real problems...one of my 3 cat sensors is sendin a code, but i dont have emmissions so it doesnt matter...22 mpg is excellent... i guess it all goes by your past experiances...oh and the fact this cars interior is a snap too take apart! i could go on lol....

On a much more serious note, be very very careful when getting gas in your Maxima. One time I got back in the car while pumping (something I never do) because my mom was with me and we out shopping and when I got out after fueling up I forgot to touch metal. The first first metal thing I touched was the gas nozzle handle and I was greeted with a nice shock! Thank God nothing happend other than a sore finger but just as a touched the handle I had a instant helpless feeling. It was all over in a fraction of a second and all was well in the end. Just thought I'd put the warning out since alot of you are from places too cold to stand next to the car while pumping your gas.

Love....
The power, even the 3.0 is fast
The body design
Interior room
The low end torque
Hate...
Nissan service
The super wide turning radius
The MAF and all the problems that come with it
and those hard *** leather seats up front, very uncomfortable on long road trips
