I love that nobody expects to get the sh!* beat out of them by a sedan

i hate the fact that it doesnt handle like a "sports car" that it is should.

 

I love the fact that mine handles better than many "sports cars" (you just need the right suspension mods)

I hate the price of Super Unleaded.

Love: smooth powerful engine, smooth lines, and luxury items

Hate: wheel gap, and the feeling like im driving a ship through the twisties

NO it doesn't... It does RECOMMEND, but it does NOT REQUIRE...

I love the fact that YES, u can beat a mustang or camaro, with 4 doors on your car

I HATE HATE HATE the fact that the HIDS couldn't have come standard on 2000-2001...

 

I love the fact that it is an incognito 6sp beastie.

I hate the solid beam rear axle. Really got to be careful on a frost heavy curve. yowza..

 

I hate the turning radius. 2000 DeVille makes it in parking spaces easier.

I love pretty much everything else. The size is just right and the amenities like the auto headlights and HomeLink.

 

I love the POWER and best of all....driving down I-287 next to the professional Maxima Drivers.


I hate the fact that I'm not driving my Max right now. Oh and that damn SES light. Ugh!

 

I love it when people ask me what kinda mods my 3.5L has

I hate it when people dog the 3.0L.

 

I love the one touch sunroof

Hate that my tint isn't darker...came that way from dealer... too poor to re-do it.

 

I love absolutely EVERYTHING about my car. From the 3.5, 6-speed, HID's, styling, gorgeous interior, deep blaaaaaaack paint, etc....

I HATE it when i have to waste my gas showing people what my "grocery getter" is all about.

I love the fact that you can sneak up on alot of these guys who THINK they're car is really fast, Honda, Mustang, etc... Maximas can compete w/alot of the notoriously fast street cars out there and kick @$$ because no one thinks the Max is really that fast...

I hate the fact that not only is the Max front wheel drive but the traction is horrible too.

Hey, does the I35 count?

Pro: Love the navigation, honestly, I bought the navigation model just to say I have it, but I have actually used the navi more than I even thought I would. Saved my @ss more than once going to corporate meetings, finding food spots, and especially gas stations when I am in unfamiliar territory. Plus I like retractable/auto up and down navi feature, people love that when they get in my car.
Pro: Gas mileage after mods. I get really good gas even with the higher prices. I find myself going to fill up only once every two-three weeks. Where as before, it was like every Saturday.

Con: Needs to have had a 5th gear with manual-matic. I don't know why nissan decided to stick with the 4 gears instead of 5. The maxima and I35 would have been beast with an extra gear. With the extra gear we would have been able to use all available power more like the G35 sedan, and probably save some gas mileage.
Con: Not really a con but, practically everything I had a problem with could/was fixed with aftermarket modding like:

Handling, power, lighting, stero and the shift_slow tranny.

All in all, if infiniti were to refresh the I series, I would buy again.

hate poor customer service at the dealership, hate lack of detail put into car, detail that they included in infinitis of the same price
