Watch your Jr as.s.s you're going to get banned postin ish like this ...

Leave it stock or do the GAB, IMO the JWT pop w/ stock resonator is the best. If you want it to be loud, get a mid-pipe.

IDK WHY EVERYONES BEING ALL HIGH AND MIGHTY DUSHES

u have a question, ill answer it, no matter if its been asked b4.

I got the injen intake for my car, i like how it is smooth and quiet when your drivin around normal but when you get on it, its got a nice loud growl. your gona pay the xtra dollar for an injen but i love how it just slides in and installs like it was from the factory. look around you can find em for about $250-$300, ive sceen them for $250 online. find the cheepest price online and go to a local aftermarket dealer and try to haggle a price, this way youll get a better price and you wount have to pay for shipping.

also , install it yourself if its injen, the housecor has a step by step how to and also injen sends some pritty dam good instructions with the intake with photos of the actual engine bay so its really easy!

Because of this:

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=368622

And the fact that there are thousands of intake threads answering this very same question...

Anyways, I have a Berk intake.... I like it, I feel no gains, but it sounds good.... I paid $99 shipped for it brand new, so I'm not complaining. When I have more time this summer, I'm gonna give the GAB a shot. For more threads/comments just like this, read back about 10-20 pages and you'll find plenty of intake threads...

Injen is expensive and can, at times, give the MAF trouble

I have a Jim Wolf POP Charger on both the 2k and 2k3 and they work great, sound great, and give you a little more MPG.

GAB is the 'low ball' solution, but you mess up your stock air box to do it, and the dealer can give you trouble if they see it.

No, ya don't have to hack the airbox to do it... most who've done it simply prop the airbox open and secure it... works fine and its easily reversible.

See Fezzik's: http://home.insightbb.com/~dwh/GAB.htm

Btw, the dynos have shown that the GAB gives the most gains, despite being your "low ball" solution.

Is that Jim Wolf Pop charger hard to install? Also how does it sound. I'm looking to stay low key but like what I hear about intakes.

Easier than changing your socks. If you buy it, it comes with instructions .. . Low key sound even under wot, but still nice noise, it's the mid-pipe that gets things loud.

Should be cake... I did my Berk in less than an hour and it should be the same for the JWT, maybe even less.

See the link in the How-Tos and decide for yourself...

Btw, I'm not sure how anyone can really desribe to ya how it sounds, but it should sound similar to the Berk/Frankencar and you can find clips of those at www.frankencar.com/media. Check em out.

Installed mine last week, cold place racing. I didnt drill the hole into the fender yet.. so the filter is still inside. It was a pleasure to take out all the orig equiptment. But... my wife drives this car and is complaining of engine knocking under slight axcel. and loss of power down low- she doesnt know of the install yet.

I am looking for a tuner to advance the timing and get the car running good.

any good tuners in Central new jersey?

You might want to complete the isntall and drill that hole and get the filter in there, because if not things will mechanically beat the hell out of each other when the engine flexes under laod.

And for clarification, it's Place Racing CAI. Or PRCAI.

A factory or anyone with a consult II can advance timimg there are dozens of threads on that subject.

What is gay? Please clarify.

1. The search-before-you-post policy that our moderators have?

2. The fact that there are many many threads asking which intake is the best?

3. My Berk intake?

4. The GAB intake?

5. The fact that you claim on your homepage that your Injen gives you 10 whp?
