too wide as in will be sticking out the wheel well or to wide as in will be hitting the wheel well? if there sticking out a lil that might look a lil nice, even though it is front wheel drive...

bugbite... there are several in the Org (at least one with photos) who have 350Z rims on their Max... just make sure you get 235/40s for the rims - I have the 18" rims from a 2004 SE with 245/45s and I am experiencing some rubbing, which I think will be solved via installing new springs and Illuminas. We'll see.

I believe the Touring wheels are not staggerd just a wider tire in the back. Ive seen around 6 or more org members run this set up with mild drops and have no problem when using the correct tire size.

bugbite:spacers would stick the wheel out even further a 30mm offset is already pushing it.

They are running 4 front wheels....The wheels are indeed staggered.

You should grind the edge of the wheel down, it would be a cheap and easy way to make the wheels fit.

I'm looking for these rims too and had a suspicion that they wouldn't fit. Good luck.

The Touring wheels are NOT staggered. They are all 18X8 with 30mm offset. The only thing different are the wheel sizes. The rears being wider then the fronts.

350z's

Which 350's do you have? I think, depending on your drop, you may run into some problems. I had a set of '04 350's (17", 7-spoke design), and I'm on Tein S-Techs. The rims are same width, but with different size tires (225/50/17 front and 235/50/17 in the rear.) Offset is a +30 in the rear (I believe), and a +33 in the front. I forget, I got rid of these a while back. Anyways, there was some rubbing issues in the rear, but the fronts were ok.

actually after further inspection of the previouse 350Z these rims were stock on its a 03 7 spoke 18inch rim, VERY similar to 2k3max2nv's rims but he has 04 maxima rims not 350Z rims, the Z rims have a lil indented dot above each lugnut hole. but anyway this guy who is a local at the bar i work at had these aftermarket rims on his Z, i asked him what he did with his stock rims, i like the way they look and i would like them on my car, he said i have them at home and you can have em for $100 bucks, he also gave me these bridgestone potenza RE04.0 tires with the fronts at 225/45/R18 and rears at 245/45/R18. the questions i have are, will this tire combo work and are these good tires, they have about 90% tread left. note that i am rideing on a stock suspension. Thanks guys!

Tire rack recommends useing 235/45/R18 would it be bad if i saved some omney and used my 225/45/R18 that i have and put them on the front? would it off set the speedometer?

Since the Z 18" wheels are either 7.5" or 8" wide, I would go with 245/40/18. It is closest to stock tire size and only results in minimal speedometer error.

350Z Touring rims are 18x8 all around. There is no question about that. Only the tires are staggered. If it includes tires, then the 245 may be a bit wide in back...better to run that in the front. But I'm thinking maybe he picked up Z 17's from the base model?

i was told taht the 245 might cause rubbing in the rear, i was gona go with the 235 in the rear and the 225 in thefront, i was wondering if the 225 would cause any damage with the tranny or speedometer reading?

Just go with the same size all around. This way you can atleast rotate the tires. Oh yea, and 245 is not a problem. The aspect ratio (the 45) will be the problem. Ammi was running 245/40 on his 18" maxima wheels and was not rubbing.

so since all 4 of these tires are 45's their all no good? (fronts 225/45/R18 and rears at 245/45/R18)

The 225/45 will work, the 245/45 in the rear won't. 245/45 is to tall.
