Does anybody have a write up on how to remove and install new fog lamps. My lamp was hanging out of the socket and I went over a hard bump and i destroyed it. Anybody know any place where I can get it for a good price. All help would be greatly appreciated!!!

 

im getting a new driver side fog light for around $85 brand new this week, thats the cheepest i could find it

 

Both of mine are cracked so i'm figuring i should just get a pair to replace both of them. Anybody know how to remove and install them!!

 

Since you guys can't search.....

1. Jack up car or put car on ramps for easy access.

2. Remove screw, bolt, and plastic pop tab from plastic guard underneath the foglight.

3. Unplug wiring harness using a small screwdriver to press the release tab.

4. Remove 2 bolts from the back of the foglight housing.

5. Push on the back of the foglight to pop it out.

 

I saw a shop on ebay selling some for about 34.00 each. Search under 01 max or whatever year Max you have but I think price may differ from year to year.

As for removing the lamp, I'm not sure if the procedure is the same from year to year. I can describe how to remove the 01 fog light. Let me know if this is the same year that you have.
