Ok, i did a google search and only found the 1 topic and i have it bookmarked. But comming from someone who has actually installed them, how hard is it? I am pretty sure I am going to get one but i want to make sure that this is something i can do without screwing up. any info or a write up is awesome!

soldering that thing is a PITA because of the metal they use for the wire. i just cripmped mine with butt connectors. it works just fine.. i got mine off of bakerselectronics on ebay

you can't solder the 02 wires, they have to be bulleted.

Stainless steel is impossible to solder on supposedly, but it's true and it was tried on my wires before we went with bullets.

ok well i'm probobly just going to use a butt connector but determining which wires to connect to which ones...how did u figure it out. also, where does the actual thing connect to? maybe a pic would help.

also, do i get a single or double?

if you follow blackbirdvq's instructions, you don't solder into the o2 wires. You soldered it into the harness before the o2 plug, which are color coded and can be soldered

I soldered the wires. Make sure the white wire, after it is soldered to the harness white wire reads somewhere in the 0.3-0.65V range. And don't forget to unplug battery before doing this procedure. many people get high voltage error code because of this.

just a note, the o2 simulator will not solve a heater issue in the o2 sensor. if you are getting a heater code then you can mock the heater function with a 20-40ohm/20 watt resistor.
