Will my Stillen intake and K&N cone filter on my '96 be a direct fit for my '01 AE? I would like to see how it sounds on my '01 before I get one for it. The part numbers are different on the Stillen site, and I cannot find the exact dimentions anywhere for either.

If it is not a direct fit, what is suggested for a WAI for the '01? Injen, JWT, or should I stick with Stillen? I have seen in previous posts that the oil in some of the filters may cause MAF damage. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

 

Injen is a POS- its not considered a performance mod by any of the guys here on the .org who are after HP.

Spacing for the bolts that hold the MAF to the airbox- or in your case, cone filter is different. You would need to re-drill it, tap it and then it will work. I've done that with my JWT POP Charger when I sold it to a friend of mine to use it on his 97 240SX. Its going to sound pretty much the same on your AE as it does on your 4th gen. Only diff might be on top end- where the AE will sound much louder than your 4th gen due to the VIAS intake manifold kicking over to the high end mode.
