Cattman Catback

I wanna get the cattman catback exhuaust system and the cattman cat. I have the y pipe already but i wanted to know how will it sound all together. Does anyone have a sound clip of how it is? If anyone have a complete cattman setup how is it? do you like it? does it sound nice and mellow or loud ?? any comments will be greatly appreciated.

I have the cattman exhaust and the fast cat. I like how it sounds. Sometimes at low rpm or in certain "lull" situations it has a low drone but it is deep. Then you get away from traffic and it sounds good. Car+Gas= Happy sounds. I have been told " It is just enough" Sounds definitely not stock but mean. Mostly because of the mammoth B pipe. I tried to get an exhaust clip on a phone but it sounded like ish. It burbles out when you shut the car off. I am very happy I have no regrets for my 1 K (including sway bar).

Go listen to BlackbirdVQ's clips of his Mossy exhaust with Hotshot headers.... your Cattman y-pipe through rear will sound very similar, IMO. The thread with the clips has "Mossy exhaust" or the like in the title....

It'd be nice to have a sticky with clips of different exhaust setups. There's one on the Altima website.
I have a ypipe and want to do a Bpipe(keep axle back stock) but I dont know if I should get a resonator or not. Sound clips could help alot of people decide what to buy.

As in no need to do the y pipe. I am under the impression that they does little on the 2k2. The pre cats that are in the older y pipes are in the header on the 2k2.

yeah the headers give alot of hp becasue you remove the pre cats. i see no point in the y-pipe for a vq35 max.

Has anyone dynoed their exhaust upgrades? Or had before and after runs at the track? I'm curious what gains are compared to stock.

I will on Monday. I have a BL dyno performed with just the injen and the UDP. I just installed the Fast Cat and the Cat back. I will post results Tues night. Any guesses where I should land? 220ish?

There are dynos of various set-ups floating around in this forum and in the Dyno forum. What exhaust upgrades are ya referring to? Headers? Y-pipe? Cat-back? B-pipe only? Rear section only? Headers + cat-back? Y-pipe + cat-back? Or any upgrade in general?

I have Cattman Fast Cat and COMPLETE Cattman catback system. I also recently had the timing advanced, which has been pinging lately in the recent heat on hills. Hopefully the SAFC will erase that with more gas in needed spots when it is tuned. I also have replaced the stock SE 17s with 24lb 5zigen's with T1-s. My old dyno was 205.9 I would hope that I have netted more than 4.1 whp.
