UDP and starting problems

Since I installed my underdrive pulley back in April, I've noticed that my car has had problems starting. It could be a weak battery, but the car is only 2.5 years old. Has anyone else had this problem after installing a UDP? Maybe the alternator isn't charging the battery enough between starts, I'm not sure. I'll get the battery tested at Advance Auto later today, but I was looking for any similar experiences before I shell out cash for a new battery.

I install my pulley about a week ago. No problems, but I did have to change my battery after about 2 years also. After I got a new head unit, amp and speakers the factory battery could not hold it. If you have to get a new battery, get an Optima.
