Hey, my friend went to a Nissan Dealer today and they told him for a Black on Black (leather) it was $26,000. Seemed high to me. All my buddy wanted was leather and the 17" rims but it comes with EVERYTHING else, so he just walked out. What is your take on this and what have you all payed?

Wait a couple of months and you will be able to get Se's for the price of GXE's. Dealers don't want old Maximas sitting around while they bring in the new 2002's.

I don't make as much as you all. I had to buy a used GXE for 21k and change. That includes taxes, lic. fees and extended warranty. Can't afford a new one

I'm ashamed to say...

I paid sticker for an base SE. The only option (which I didn't even want) was the auto transmission. It was the first car I ever bought and I was in shock from being able to afford the car... ooops

Is that with all the taxes and stuff. Where did you get that from (dealership, state.)

Nope add 5.5 % for Taxes and I didn't purchase an extended warranty. I got it from Lee Auto Mall in Saco, Maine. I thought it was a pretty good deal too. Hope I don't find out that it was too good to be true .

I negotiated $26,500 fully loaded 5spd SE OTD, (incl tags, title, tax). I wanted it for $26K for it but they didn't go down that far. They were trying to meet quota, which was why they could go that low. Next time I asked they didn't come down below $27K. FYI, Nissan had a dealer incentive of $500, (may share with you or not). Anyway, that was my experience. Hope it helps.

20th AE Price

I purchased a SE 20th AE sticker = 30,800, price = 27,009.

Jeff Wyler in Ohio will go $1,000 under invoice.
