As Maxfli mentioned, you will need a torx 30 (bought mine at habor freight for less than $10) and thread lock is recommended. If you look at the pictures that I just reposted, you can manage to swap the steering switch without disconnecting the airbag, but you should still disconnect the battery and wait for a few mins (maybe pressing the brake pedel) until all power is gone.
