TOday I get out of work and im in traffic and the car does not wanna move. The car is up to 4 rpm and im only going like 30-40 when i would be flying. WTF??? Im very lost on whats going on. I know im not giving enough detail on whats going on but please help. Car feels like its laging but in neutral i can hit redline what could this be

One more this my OD light flased a couple of time what does that mean?

 

Sounds like your transmission is slipping. Try locking out OD and see if you get some speed. You can also try the individual gears (1st, 2nd, etc.) and see if some of them are not engaging.

Just a guess though.

Sorry, I don't have an auto and I recall only from past experience that most AT's have a button for preventing the transmission from shifting into overdrive. Can you feel the car shifting gears? Another alternative is the infamous MAF problem but my experience with that case is the car idle's horrible.

 

Well my car was runnin horribly for the past coule of days since its been pretty hot here in NY but i switched my injen intake for my facotry intake and omg wat a world or difference. My car felt alot better. Not perfect but better none the less. the car shifts gears and the tranny fluid is cherry red has a very very very slight burnt smell but its very slight. I have no codes and no nothing, First gear engages no problem and grips but once in second gear its laggy, it will shift in and out of every gear. Just crappy after second gear. ANY IDEAS WILL be greattttlllyyyy appreciatteddddd
