cmon, you know you cant stand that scratch you have on your car.

I have scratches by my bumper, slightly dented rear-right door (damn parking lot cars), and small scratches by my front side markers.

These things make me feel like my car is unpretty when i look at everyone elses car =\

so list yours, and make others feel better =)

let it go, release that stress!

Dings and scratches all over the front bumper... scrapes and scratches on the bottom part of the Stillen lip... screwdriver dent in left rear clear area... paint chip on driver's side molding because someone didn't know how to open their door... small dent on driver's side door from shopping cart... scratch on driver's side door from garbage can...

That's all I can remember.

Slight ding on left front fender (stupid truck throwing up stones), it looks huge to me but my friends can't see it until I point it out. And the scratch on the right side front rim edge (caught the curb parking). Oh yeah almost forgot...those damn paint chips too!

Where do I begin...

Let's see...

The one's that come to mind are

* All the dings and chips on the hood and aero kit. Even have one on the driver's side a-pillar... and it's a biggin.

* Missing fuel line guard.

* Passenger door Bose speaker (that I've been to the dealer for 3 times and think they've finally ordered the right damn part so that'll make four trips).

* Missing auto window roll down in the keyless remote (alright, so it's not a real imperfection but they SHOULDA KEPT THIS FEATURE).

* Serious imperfections with the spray paint job they gave my AE body kit (under spray city). My 21-month old could have done better with a can of Krylon.

Scratches on the lower left side of the front fender, from an 18-wheeler shread of a tire, flying through the air at 70 MPH the second day I owned the car. I thought I was being air raided.

>About 50 paint chips on the front bumper and hood. They range in size from about the size of the head of a pin up to about half the size of a pencil eraser.

>Scratches on the grey material on the door panel that houses the window-lifts and door-pulls (on GXE & SE)

>I have to agree on the omission of the remote window roll-down feature being left off IS a glaring imperfection! My '97 had it and so did the 3rd Gen (on keyless entry pad)!

I can relate to the keying. That ain't right. You just don't touch another persons car. That's just no sane. Punk kids have way too much time on their hands.

hate

things i hate about my car:

1. Driver's door ding

2. Hood chips

3. Computer needs new case and concealed

4. Joshua Tree dash kit

5. The fact that even though the car is level, the wheelgap in the front is more than the rear

6. I cannot find clear side markers for it

7. I cannot find an aftermarket stereo dash kit for it

4. slight scratch above rear passenger door performed by me with my keys
5. paint swirls
6. paint chips
7. funky clear coat
8. small scuffs/scratches near speakers on the front passenger door from shoes

After one year with a few minor chips fixed with touch up paint (tip use a tooth pick to apply), 1 big ding pushed out at a ding repair shop (ouch $100) and thats it.
Car looks new as I use a Teflon Paint sealant and handicap
parking to minimize idiot door dings.
One very small advantage to having M.S., the handicap spots
are f**cking wide )

Besides the paint chips and scratches on the clear coat, Nissan manual gearboxes (the maxima's at least) are crap.

The shifter feels rubbery and the gates are spaced far apart. I always miss the 3-4 upshift.

Chipped Paint
- Tiny dot on the front of the hood
- Tiny dot on the side of the passenger door
- Tiny dot behind the rear driver-side door
- Some tiny dots on the inside edge of door guards

Exterior Dents/Dings/Scratches
- Very slight ding from another parked car
- Front passenger-side wheel scratch along outer edge
- Tiny damage to plastic part of door when opened and bumped into a wall

Interior Nit-Picking (all from my girlfriend and her kids, dang it! )
- Tiny pits on the plastic where the front belt buckles knock into
- Shoe scuffs along sides of door
- Drink/Food stain on passenger side front floor mat
- Bits of crumbs here and there

Things From Recent Accident (SUCKS!!! )
- Rear bumper
- Passenger side tail-light
- Trunk door and 'SE' badging
- Exhaust chrome tip
- Frame damage to rear, passenger-side
- Front license plate frame
- Front bumper paint

After that accident last Friday, my Maxima will proabably never be the same, but now I just can't wait to get her all fixed up next month.

Of course, all the other things are barely noticable by most people, but I complain about them anyway. Everyone else hates hearing me rant about it. Oh well, it's better than needing therapy!

I totally agreed. ALthough I can't relate and hopefully i won't ever, I just don't see any reason to touch another persons car or mistreat it. Sone guy I work with bought a 2001 Sentra SE and two weeks later its in the shop cause someone at his school keyed his car from one end to another. I don't understand the reasoning behind this but if someone ever keyed my car I'd put some serious ...hurt on their candy A**ES.

Wait a second!

Did the Maxima become a Korean mobile?

No, didn't mean to make fun of Korean, but I realized the amount of Korean on this board.......

So you are saying that you making fun of Koreans is NOT a joke? Your right, its not. Its racist and is very serious. I'm not the one who started this Korean thing and kept it going. Looking at your last post, you brought up the Korean subject from a previous post. Why don't you just quit while your behind huh?

I don't find the sig any problem. Its Korean literature and cultrual thing. Just like blonde jokes etc. In fact, the joke in my sig was made up by a Korean Canadian...

Kev is not shutting this down yet. I'll just stop replying to you and you keep on typing trying to make a point (even though most of us think it is useless and offensive) I'll stop trying to help. I've had enough. Your just not going to learn.

I think I had enough!

Korean taking over everything! Diablo 2, the game, was initally an American game, but now, it was sold in Korea and it clogged up battle.net with 90% Korean out of 3million users. Playing games is virtually impossible because of those Korean clogging up the precious server. They are there to talk ****, not even playing games! Now, the Korean is taking over Maxima community? OK, I think the atomic bomb is needed.

Not to mention those Korean hackers in battle.net starcraft.

LOL.
