Yellow fog lights...

i was wondering does anyone have yellow fog lights in their stock setup.

heres a link to a yellow capsule that covers the H3 bulb in our stock fog lights. has anyone tried it? do you think its worth $30 plus shipping to have yellow fogs.

i was doing some research on yellow H3 bulbs and their ranging in prices from $20 to even $50 a pair...and you know how long aftermarket bulbs can last...

with the yellow capsule cover, you can keep ur stock bulb and still have the yelllow...

by the way, the yellow H3 bulbs are not even CLOSE to as yellow as the HIDtech capsules with OEM bulbs.

I have used every form of yellow fogs you can:
- Narva Gold bulbs
- Candlepower Gold bulbs
- PIAA crystal Ion bulb
- Yellow lamin-x film
- OEM bulbs with 9006 HIDtech capsule inserts (note 9006, not H3) - currently.

Are ya doing it for looks or functionality? That should determine how much you're willing to pay and whether its worth it or not.

See here for some opinions on whether yellow fogs really help or not:

I also have...........

I have also done this mod with the Hid Tech capsules & love it. I was also able to keep the keep the factory bulb shroud......"The little mirrored looking thing inside the foglight that covers the bulb......" in as well, this way when they are off you wouldent know they were not stock. You cant see the yellow capsule . Very clean install & patients is the key when doing this mod .

you have to remove the lens to install the yellow capsules, the pic below shows an easy way of doing it, after you take a pair of tin shears and cut the top half off the bub shroud

How do the 00 fogs differ from 02 fogs in the opening process. How are each sealed because irish did these with 00 fogs and the original thread starter is 02.
