hey guys those who know about transmission or victims of the same problems iam having..

1. driving at low speeds still 1st gear u hit the gas car jumps into gear
2.your driving 40 MPH or so u need to pass someone so u hit the acclerator quite hard rpms jump car thinks to downshift or not
3.driving normally not WOT car shifts at 4.5 k rpms sometimes

Did you mean when driving at low speeds, 1st gear, then hitting the throttle the car jumps into 2nd gear?

The tranny control in the 5.5g is much different than the 4g, meaning the 4g is more agressive in that it will downshift at 40 and below. I think the reason behind this is the old people beind the wheel would freak out of when they floored it and they'd break the front wheels loose everytime.

Slap that b!tch into first if you want it to perfom that way.
