I think that would look horrendous in a 5th or 5.5th Gen. The dash design is so different that even if someone could do the extensive customization and fabricatation needed for an install, in the end, it wouldn't look right. Just my $.02.

Go with after market....that will look very bad....won't match the car at all....

 

why would you go to all that trouble just to have a POS bose unit?

 

is the BOSE in the 6th gen bad as well?
I agree with all the others on this...that piece is not designed for our interiors and would look completely wrong in our cars....the 6th gen's dash design is completely vertical, while ours is slanted...it just wouldn't fit, nor look right...

 

Yeah that will definately look like junk in your ride. Notice how nobody has bid on an in-dash BOSE with navigation at $99. That should tell you something. Go aftermarket.

 

yeah, if i upgrade my stereo it will def be aftermarket. i was just curious if anyone has tried this.
