2000 max fog lights

Hey
Quick question to everyone, does anyone know the size of the maxima 00 fog lights. Not the bulb size but the actual size. I want to get me a pair of AM fogs with the angle eyes.

thanks
Gene

I have mine out (installing the yellow capsules) so I can do some measurements. What exactly are you looking for, e.g. diameter, length, mounting, just to make it easier for me...

thanks a lot!

Cool, thanks.
One other quesiton, I heard that the GXE were pre-wired for the fog lights.
Is this true, and where can i find the ends (inside the cabin) since I do not have the fog light switch.

In my GXE the cables were behind those plastic covers that are in place of the fogs. Just take the covers with a flathead and the cable is taped to the inside of the opening.

If you are going with aftermarket fogs, try the 3" because you will need the extra space for the mounting brackets.

Rocket1991, thank you so much, you just answered all of my questions. Actually almost all of them. I am going with aftermarket fogs since i want the angleeyes. Heres my question. Where does the other end of the fog light led end up? Ohh and also, can you use the stock wire to connect the aftermarket fogs?

thanks
Gene

Thanks for the link but I still dont know.
One end of the wiring is where I will put the fog lights, where is the other end if my car didnt come with stock lights and how can I connect it to a switch?

If you want to use the stock wiring you will need to add a relay to the fuse box that is under the hood, (it clearly marks which one is for the fogs). As far as the switch, when you take off the cover behind the steering wheel, you should see a pair of wires with a white connector taped to the top of the steering collumn on the left side. What i did was just to plug those wires into the existing headlight switch so that my fogs just turn on with the headlights, otherwise you can buy the actual turn signal switch that has the fog light switch built in (you can get this from ebay).

Otherwise you can just use the wiring that came with the aftermarket fogs and then you can stick the switch anywhere you want.
