i let my friend drive my car and it has a b&m sts on it. after he got done with it, the shifting path or wutever it's called is WAY off, and the shifter falls from it's aligned path when i take it out of reverse. i have to lift the shifter to get it back to first. my friend suggested a bolt came loose on the shifter...anyone know what happened?

p.s. my friend can't drive manual if it was the only way to save his life.

 

try retightening hte bolt that holds the sts to the push rod.
