I need to replace my tires on my max. I am in Tampa so I don't need snow tires, but I am looking for good tires for dry/wet conditions. I also drive aggressively and like to corner so I am not sure who to even look at. Any help would be appreciated.

I had Nissan put Michelin Pilot HX MXM4 on my SE (17" rims). Been very happy, but I'm not an aggressive driver. I'm sure there are more performance oriented tires from Michelin; there are a lot of different threads on various tires. I suggest you do a search. You'll get about as many opinions as there are posts, but at least you'll get an idea of what people have gone with.

there is not much available in the stock size. Whatever there is, is really expensive. Michelin does make tires in the same size as stock but they are pretty expensive. Some have used 235/45/17 tires on those rims without any problems since there is a larger selection with that size. If you want to go this route, I believe Nitto 555's are spec'ed to fit the 7" wide SE rims.
