asking for a how-to, but more important, if debadging will leave drilled holes in trunk?

i'm not 100% sure if using a blow dryer will take it all off

any advice would be helpful.

You can use fishing line or dental floss to cut through the adhesive that holds the badges. Then, remove the adhesive that is left with an adhesive remover. Clean the area and then be sure to wax it. I don't think that it will leave any holes.....

the SE and Maxima badges don't leave holes, but the Nissan logo leaves 2 little holes...a little bondo and touchup paint did the trick, though

Why take the badges off? Looking to revert your Maxima to a GXE?

well it is fun for me...i have no nissan or maxima or se or anything badges on me and only real car enthusiasts know what i drive

when my car was broken into awhile ago, the cop wanders all the way around my car (i wasn't sure what he was doing) and then he said "now, what type of car is this?"

i just keep thinking back to the movie gone in 60 secs at the beginning when the cop goes "we have a silver porsche, estimated speed 80mph"...for me they would go "we have a silver...umm...vehicle..."

real car enthusiasts know the taillights, very few people can tell from the front of the car

I feel the same way, people ask me "what is that?" Go to target, walmart, etc. nd get the spray adhesive remover. Better yet get it from the local car paint shop(Sherwin Williams) and spray liberally on the badges and let it sit for a min. or two and vwolla they pop right of not leaving a mark!
