Rotor Rust

Rotor Rust
recently installed new pads and rotors up front and noticed rust (or rust colored build up) is starting to appear around the hub area.
any suggestions on how to clean it off and keep it from coming back?

^i thought about painting them too, what type/color paint did you use?
edit "..I used a paint called Zero Rust which neutralizes rust." lol. what color, can you post or send pics to how it turned out? how has it held up?
here's what mine currently look like. i'm really too lazy to take the rotors off again to paint it, but the rusted rotor peeking through the wheels look is not whats up.
and i might as well do the calipers too while i'm at it.

If you don't wish to remove them you can use a rust remover + inhibitor called "Must for Rust" home depot. It's pretty good and protects for up to 12 mths.
Water soluble and bio-degradeable. I would keep it away from the rims tho it might cause spots.
