Has anyone had aproblem with these controls, like not working sometimes. If so is there anywhere to clean the sensors or anything like that?

Thanks in advance......

Or the CD track would change. I have that too. And sometimes when I'm turning the wheel it does it too and my hands aren't anywhere near it! The volume buttons don't respond sometimes....argh.

Have you ever noticed that when you change the volume with the steering controls that the volume **** on the console isn't calibrated anymore.

I've had all the same problems, but infrequently enough that I don't really mind. I wish I could clean the damn thing, but it looks like a pain in the *** to take off. It looks like you would have to take the whole steering wheel cover off.

Its most likely the cable reel that sits behind the steering wheel and not the switches themselfs. 90% of the cars out there nowa days have the same kind of system for controlling the cruise and radio controlls via steering wheel controls, and the signal passes through the cable reel and then to the radio or cruise control brain box- don't you find it odd that both the cruise and radio controlls dont work and they both pass signals through the cable reel ? In order to repleace the reel, you need to take out the airbag, take off the steering wheel, and then the covers that are around the steering column, then you can remove the philips screws that hold the cable reel to the steering column assembly.
