Rear Break Pad Question, HELP ASAP

Hi was changing the rear pads on my 01 and i was trying to re-load the piston so it will fit over the new pads. it seems not to push back like the front did. anyone know how to get it back in place?

ITs all apart so need help or insite immediately.

You need to turn the piston back into place, don't push it or you'll f*ck it up. You can buy the tool that inserts into the piston face at any parts store or try using needle nose pliers.

sorry for the spelling error, i just a little irritated trying to get it to work.
do you have to push it to the right or left. (left would be front of car, Right would be rear or car when sitting back in place.

Let's make sure we're talking about the same thing first......You are referring to the cylinder in the rear caliper right? You're trying to compress the cylinder to make room for the new pads?

Rotate the piston clockwise using the needle-nose pliers in the grooves of the piston sorta like a handle. As you rotate the piston, it will retract into the caliper.
