please help me decide on a rotor and pad combo

hey guys. I have been reading all the brake threads and still can't decide on which rotor & pad combo to go with. I'm leaning toward the Hawk HPS pads but not sure about the rotors. I want to get ones that are zinc plated and slotted. I am sick of my stock rotors warping so.... please share with me which ones are the best bang for the buck. I am a poor college student so I'm on a budget. Also if you could tell me where I can get them that would be great! thanks in advance for the help guys. I love the org!

Powerslot rotors and hawk hps pads...the rotors have an awesome finish and i heard they stay looking real nice over the years and don't warp.

I got these from raceconcepts off ebay.... Seem like they are good quality and they are pretty cheap and the shipping is included in the price. Now I just gotta get pads and put these babies on

I'd be careful about those ebay rotors....since rotors are crucial in an emergency situation. There was a thread back a while talking about how crappy rotors shattered to ****. I just got my new brembo blanks and axxis ultimates installed a few days ago and seems good so far. I paid $120 for the front pair and $60 for the rear pair. Axxis pads were like $100 for F&R from import replacement parts.

ceramic pads and stock rotors have been good to me. No warping at all on my 02 and now that i have the 03 i am gonna do the same. The 03 doesn't seem to have warping either but i don't know if the previous owner had the rotors replaced or not.

thanks guys for the responses... The brembo's are a lot cheaper than the other options so i'm leaning towards them. are there places that sell them plated with zinc or can I take it somewhere to get them zinc plated?
