tire sizing question for my 01
I have 245-40-18's and I don't rub. It all depends on wheel width and offset. You can't have a 25mm offset and not expect to rub. If you provide some additional info then people can answer your question more accurately.
If you are talking about mounting that size tire to the OEM wheel, it won't fit. The OEM wheels are 17x7 and the two sizes that are typically used are 225/50/17 (OEM size) and 235/45/17 (but that's not recommended).
I had that size tire (Sumitomo) on my 17" OEM rims and didn't experience any rubbing. They looked great but between DC potholes and my girlfriend's love of curbing I had to take them off.
these are the rims

typical.....everyone wants to put the widest tire they can on a rim. If handling is your goal, go with a tire toward the mid/lower extreme of the rim size. In your case, 2355/17 or similar. 245 will fit, but with the higher side profile of a 17" rim that's only 7.5" wide, your handling may be sloppier.
but hey, what do I know about anything.....

correct diameter to keep it in spec is 235/40/18 for 18" rims, or even 245/40/18. 245/45.....no wonder your rubbing. Wait until you drop it...more rubbing to follow.

Does anybody know how bad will it rub after i drop it with maxspeed?

it really all depends on the rim offset....
I have maxspeeds with 18x8, 235/40/18 and I've never rubbed. Oh, and my wheels are 30mm offset, which is about as far out as you can go without rolling the fenders.

But when I put on BFGoodrich KDWS, I would get slight rubbing in the back only.
