http://www.silhoses.com/products/kits.asp?item=Nissan

I have sent them out and I will be waiting for these suckers to come in It cost me like 60 bux for the OEM hoses from Nissan, they going to copy em in silicone and send me the 1st set to evaluate. Andrew responds right away to request so it seems as if their customer service is top notch, hes going to keep me updated every step of the way. They gonna send out the hoses to U.K. cause thats where Samco is located at. Judgin from the prices of some of the kits- our kits should be around 130 bux, they might have some kinda group deal on them, so I need to get intouch with the Altima boys to get more people in on the GD.

Personally I'm going with the blue, I seen it in person and it looks killer, along with T-Clamp hose clamps it will looks very very nice.

Nice work! Samco hoses ive heard to be some great stuff. The guys on the volvo forum, have had a few issues just to keep in mind. A little freakish, but soemthing good to know.

A couple guys had some hoses blow apart, with a very clean slice. Someone suggested that a air bubble opened up inside the hose, leading it to expand with hot fluid, then bursting the outside.

Then again, someone suggested when someone opened the box with a razor knife, it could have grazed the hoses.

But the Samco's have a great reputation. They hold up great under high pressure.

UPDATE- Andrew got the OEM hoses last Wednesday and send them out Thrusday to Samco in United Kingdom. They are going to be making the hoses in their standard colors, you will be getting 1 upper and 1 lower radiator hose plus coolant overflow tank hose. I got the 4th, 5th and 5.5 gens in on this deal. I belive 6th gens could use the 5.5 gen kit but I'm not 100% sure as I didn't check if the hoses are the same. Once I have more info I will post it, Andrew told me we could hold a special group deal for the .org members who are interested. He doesn't know exacly the price of the hoses as Samco of UK is the one whos going to set the price on them, and then we will be able to work from there.

I will keep ya guys updated

My contact person who is in charge of the pricing is out on a bussiness trip till Thursday. He does check his voice mail and does call back on daily basis, so I'm expecting a call from him soon. As soon as I get some more info I will sure to post it here, prices, colors and how to order will soon to follow.

They do have hoses in stock by Samco that are sold by FOOT in diff sizes and in all the normal Samco colors- this is for people who are interested in repleacing alot of their ugly black hoses- like vacuum hoses, heater hoses etc. I'm thinking of doing all blue in the engine bay, repleacing alot of vacuum hoses etc.

I will get ALL the info needed so the interested parties can order.

UPDATE- I got pricing from Samco today.

2 piece hose kit for 3.5L Maxima, includes 1 upper radiator hose and 1 lower radiator hose, TCS322/C is the part number and their suggested retail price for us will be $103.77.

3 piece hose kit for 3.0L Maxima 95-01, includes 1 upper and 1 lower hose PLUS radiator overfill bottle hose - part # TCS302/C $136.01.

I am going to have my test mules in next week to see if they fit good, friend of mine has a 3.5L 02 Max I will be testing the 3.5L hoses on, and we will try to see if they also fit on the 02-06 Altima 3.5L.

I was told if we get over 20 orders in we will get free shipping.

I will post more info as its avalible, but for now how many people would be interested ??? BTW kits work on auto trannies or manuals, no diff what so ever in hose design with eighter transmission.

I promissed this deal would come through, now how many will buy ?

They do not have these kits in stock yet, I am getting mine straight from UK and will have em in bout 2 weeks. The overflow hose is the same between 2 engines, and my contact and I belive thats what Samco included as the 3rd piece in the 3.0L kit. Once I have my 3.0L and 3.5L kits to test I will veriffy exacly what the 3rd piece is (hopefully overflow hose) and then we can add that hose to the 3.5L kit and also make it a 3 piece kit. If they include the 3rd piece in the 3.5L kit, that part # will most likely change to something else.

EDIT- I am dealing with a company here in the States who sell alot of Samco products, they are my middle man.

I got an idea! Why don't you a) post some pics of your once installed so we know they will actually fit before we shell out over a hundred bucks each (X 20=$2,000+), b) who we should contact, and c) take a deep breath and swallow the ridlin before getting all sh!tty. Dude, you just posted 10-12 that they are sending you the first set NEXT WEEK. it's not even next week yet. Chill out a little.

Oh, and BTW: I'm in. Once I can actually see the colors I'll decide which I'm getting, but it'll probably be red.

Maybe I missed this, but...

Do these hoses provide any performance improvements or are they simply for better peace of mind and aesthetics?

SS brake lines = better compression of brake fluid for increased stopping power. The same theory may apply here as well.

So am I to gather that I would be paying $136 for hoses of the SAME MATERIAL as my OEM hoses, but with a pigmeneted covering and a name slapped on it?

Hoses do not provide any performance per say... These are more of a dress up item. However, they are an excellent replacement for older stock hoses. Silicone is not affected by heat like the standard rubber hoses. These will last 10 times longer than the regular hoses, providing greater reliability. They also look a lot better, which means more to some people anyway.
