Actually, without a TS ecu and/or taller tires you wont be able to pass 135. 5 and 5.5 gen speedometers are poo-poo past 105mph anyway

i never tried, but are you saying the 5.5 is (electronically) limited to 105?

No, 135mph...the speedo is just hopelessly inaccurate past 105 (gps and stopwatch confirmed)

wow, that blows. does the needle jump around, or just not show the correct speed? (over/under actual)?

the heat shield does absolutely nothing besides keep the filter from getting splashed. No performance gain, no mpg, no nothing.
