IDLE ISSUES- Please take a look

Ok so about a month ago, I let my buddy talk me into cleaning out my throttle body because I had heard good things on here after doing so. Whether it was people using Seafoam or just TB cleaner. After we finished, my idle was all out of whack, the rpm's were going up and down automatically. I brought it to my mechanic and he reset the idle and everything was ok for a few days. However, NOW the idle is slightly off again. When in drive the rpm's sit at about 1000 and if I put it in neutral they go up to about 1450-1500. If I do this a few times (change gears) occasionally the idle will sit where it normally does in Drive at about 750 rpm's. It's driving me crazy. I can feel the car buck when stopping cause of the elevated idle. I do have the SES code P0505 which is the IACV. Hopefully this doesn't need to be replaced. Anyway, I'm just looking for some feedback and some ideas as to what might be wrong. I'd greatly appreciate any help. Thanks ORG.

(Also, I searched all over and have seen some related threads but none gave a definitive answer.)

Hey man,
You could try adjusting the idle with the screw?

Hope this helps...

Later..

Get your idle air control valve code fixed and it'll solve your problem.
