which wire for the LED alarm
I am going to add an LED to blink while the little alarm LED by the clock blinks. I am not sure which wire to use. The write up in the FAQS is for a scanner which has 2 connections so I am nnot sure between the 2. Anyone know which wire supplies the power to the LED to blink?

ok i read the write up and it says that there is a red and yellow wire, and he grounded the unit somewhere in the sunroof. I have had a scanner with my other car and know that 1 is to save the setting, kind of like the always running clock time, and one is to power it when it is necessary. thats why there is 2 wires. so 1 of the wires he is connecting to is for the clock and 1 is for the power. anyone know which is which?

Are you talking about adding another LED in addition to the clock alarm LED, both blinking at the same time? If so, I did this and put a LED in one of the blank spots in the dash near the steering wheel. Here are the wiring codes for my 2K SE. I'm assuming you have the same year.
Yellow/Red tracer=Battery
Green/Orange tracer=Smart entrance control unit
Purple=Ignition
Red/Blue=Illumination
Black=Ground
Tap the LED in the yellow/red wire and the green/orange wire.
