lowering car, ok to get new shocks b4 lowering springs?
I want to lower the car, but I wont be able to buy everything at once.
Is it ok to upgrade my stock strut/shocks to tokico's, and then buy the eibach lowering springs later on?
any damaging effects to the stock springs? this is kinda like the opposite of getting springs before shocks....

Sure...don't see why not. But if $$$'s a concern, then by paying for labor two separate times, that eats away at your cost-saving motive in the first place. Just save up a bit more and do it all at once so they don't rip you off on the install. You can make better use of the stocks too and not put miles on your Tokicos.

Yeah the labor is gonna be the pain...
Why don't you just buy the shocks and then sit on them till you get enough to buy the springs or vice versa? Would be less expensive in the long run.
