Need Help Fast, Is this car my new Maxima?

Hi,

I haven't posted on here in quite a while since my wife and I sold our other Maxima.

I've found a 2002 SE, black, gray leather, auto, with 46,700 miles, all options (pwr seats, heated seats/wheel) except for the nav system and the lsd.

I have the vin number: JN1DA31A32T309831, and this car is still with the owners who ordered it new from the factory.

If anyone could run a carfax on that I'd appreciate it a lot.

The guy started asking like $17,500 in his ad, but said tonight that he has to have $16,500 for it. The condition is really excellent with two small imperfections: a pair of very slight dents/depressions (very minor) on the roof just behind the sunroof, and a very tiny paint crack/chip on the front fender just above where the fender and bumper meet.

What do you think? Is this car a deal? We have to have a 2002-2003, it HAS to be an auto (wife's rule, not mine), and we love the ligher gray leather (instead of the black).

If this car isn't worth it, who has one that is? My wife is really tired of driving a 16 year old car.

i got a 02 gle with meridian package with 23K miles on it in february for 16K, every option ecept nav and a spoiler. Clear car fax report.

I would say what he is asking is a bit much.

Thanks for the opinions guys. That's pretty much what I was thinking, but I was still feeling the lust for the car (both me and the wife really loved it, exactly what we wanted except for not being blue).

We're going to pass on this one and keep looking.

if it makes you feel any better, I overpaid for my car, or at least what it's blue-book value was. I did it on purpose because both the dealer and me knew that it was hard as hell to find a 5-speed black SE with meridian in my area. In fact, it was the only one of them I found within 200 miles when I bought it......I wanted this specific car, so I bit the bullet.

In retrospect, I should have held out for the black-on-black leather (I have tan)...but would have had to go 350 miles to get one of those at the time

From: Auburn WA,
I bought my 02 loaded W/O Nav 6 speed se 4 months ago for 16100 with 62k on it. They were asking 19300. I think I paid too much even though I love the car but when I was shopping it was the only loaded 6 speed in WA state. While I was looking for the car I found many low milage SE's and Gle's for better prices. Keep looking because If ya don't want a 6 speed then you have many options.

Well, it's really good to hear that so many other people have been able to find nice cars at a decent price. Hopefully we can find ours within the next two months.

Thats too much for an '02 with that many miles. I got my '02 auto SE last june with 32k for $15,500. The only downside to mine was that it didn't have a sunroof, but did have lojack.

Ive noticed that 02-03 autos are going anywhere between 15,000-20,000. Loaded ones with low miles will be marked very high. I got my 03 6speed loaded w/hsld no navi for about 17,000 (TE polished titanuim color{rare color}) with low miles. Autos are a dime a dozen so you should hold out for a cheaper prices because there are so many autos on the market you should have a problem finding what you want. When i do a search it always turns up like 20 pages of auto maxs but only 2 pages for manuals..

I have a majestic blue 02 GLE with navigation sitting on my lot right now. It has the light gray leather and is in great condition. 41,000 miles. I've been checking this thing out since we took it in because I have the same car but with 6 speed and no nav.

If you're interrested send me a private message and we'll talk. We're a large Acura dealer and can set up shipping, financing and everything else.

You can check it out here http://www2.acuraoforangepark.com/en...Search_1.chtml but contact me through the ORG and I'll take care of you.

i cant beleive you dont like tan interior on a black car. i think it loox great, offsetting a black exterior, with a light colored interior.
