GRR... NO leasing bad. LoL I think I still need to go with a low mileage 97 with BOSE.... if anyone has anylinks of GLOWING reviews or Excellent reccomends -- reliability reports, etc. for the 4th Gen maxs... please send me links I have to talk dad into thinking I'm not making a bad choice like I did with the POS Ford... (He works for Ford, so convincing him on foreign is not easy) So anyhow, any help is appreciated...

Pick up a consumer reports yearly product guide and show him the reliability ratings. You can't get it off the web, but I am sure your library would have it.
