$120 - Microvision Screen
$300 - Alpine 9833
$100 - Raw Materials
$100 - DVD Player
-------------------------
~$600 TOTAL COST
whats gonna cost me is a navigation unit. I could do without the dvd, but i want the navigation. Then i can get the microvision and fabricate something to mount everything flush. Im looking around to see if this will be cheaper or worth it,rather than an eclipse.
Secondly, you have too many projects going on at once judging by that list you have.

Pioneer just came out with a new Double Din HU that has navi built in for under $1500.

You should realize that this is a highly involved process and is very time consuming, but you also feel really good after you have finished this project.
as a navi, eclipse is just plain the best. The convenience is unreal. Not even going into the audio area of how the eclipse is better, i hear that u cant even use the pioneer while moving because of the way its set up. Something about ground and parking brake. What kind of BS is that. I like pioneer cause of the cosmetics/wallpaper/design but the better engine goes to eclipse 4 sure.

I guess I'll have to settle for my "crap-a$$" Arc Audio amp and components, Adire Koda sub, and Rainbow coaxes all wrapped and contained within a field of Second Skin.
I'm sure the wonderful audio equipment availible on such regal online vendors such as mp3car.com would work just as well, but then again what do I know?
