Best UDP for 01 Max?

It's almost time to change my timing belt in my 01 max and was thinking of changing the underdrive pulley as well. Which is the best one? Is it even worth doing?

UDP is worth it if u have some other bolt ons..
and i if u have a sound system its not really recommened but some people still have them..

it'll give you about 5-8 whp depending on what else u have on your car..

The only problem people have mentioned is if they have a huge audio setup. If you do, I would stay away....

I have a motostorm waiting to go on.... I just have been way to lazy to install. It was only $70 through a GB, I think they are near $100 now and they are just a bit lighter than the Unorthodox UDP that are around $190.

even though its a lighter than the unothodox, isn't the unorthodox more proven with less problems previously reported than the motostorm? Is it true in this case that you get what you pay for?

I personally have not heard anything bad about the Motostorm.... only good things.

As I said I have yet to install mine. however, I think they are doing another GD on them, they have sold tons of them on the org and if they are still selling, they cannot be that bad.

Well if its time for you to change your timing belt, change your timing belt. When its time for you to change your pulley change your pulley. Get it?

I've yet to hear any problems about the Motostorm... I did some research on that while the GD was going on. If anyone has, please feel free to share...

Btw, I ended up buying one, but haven't had any time to install it...

i don't know what constitutes as a huge system but i got a udp anyway, haven't put it on yet. i really doubt it's gonna affect me at all even though the current draw on my two amps are 120A and 80A respectively.. but i'm sure it's never drawing that much, probably 140A at full tilt.. i'm kind of anxious on the install to find out

you guys are arguing semantics. Granted we don't have a timing belt, but the pulley drives the accessory (serpentine) belt........so he would have been on-target asking if he should change the pulley when he changed his "belts" (serpentine and power steering, both of which are run by the crank pulley).

I am not targeting the creater of the thread, rather the smartass with the smartass response. All I am saying is that if you are going to be a smartass, then do it right, with the right info....

Dont be a smartass while you say something wrong, now you are no longer a smartass, rather, you are a dumbass.

I installed the Pro -1 UDP and I havent had a problem yet.. along with the Y pipe and a K & N drop in filter.. the car feels alot more responsive..

altho Previous I only went with unorthdox pully for my Altima ..in this case I choose something differnt but trying out the company stuff.. im sure Cattman and UDP makes a more reputable Products and Of corase *you get what you pay for* but I try anything once.

In any case the Y pipe has had any problems or any of that bees in the car noise
The UDP seem it pulls harder when need. IMO.

I had my motostorm pulley on for about 3 months now. No problems. The A/C does sound bad at idle. I do have 1 15 inch sub, 1000 watt amp, with a 1.2 cap. Was having problems with the sub until I got the cap.
