Ok I just got a new Motorstorm UDP. So I installed it today and the car runs great. I feel the xtra power. So after the tasting out for about 30 mins i parked it. So just a few mins ago i went out for some ciggs, and i come back and i see a not to big oil blotch on the ground. So i got under the car and checked the pullie and its leak'n OIL!!! I'm not sure to what's make'n it leak so i'm hope that some one can give me some help.. I do not want to drive the car around with a leak.. I fallowed all the instructions to taking the old UDP off and puting the new one on. But the only thing that didn't sit right with me was when i put the new UDP on it didn't go back all the way. there is like a 2mm gap from the back end of the pulley to the engine case. Could that be the problem?? But the pullie couldn't got back any further and also it couldn't cuz of the timing ring on the back of it would hit the engine case. what should i do????????

the seal...did you replace it???

 

yea i put a new oil seal.

 

yea that would be the problem, there is a notch in the central ring, correct? im assuming that you fit the notch up correctly otherwise it wouldnt spin, maybe try to hammer it on with a rubber mallet?
