ok now i have searched for this but havent found the symptoms mine has done. i bought the car in march of 03 its a 00 SE auto =[. ok so anyway when i first bought the car it moved great pretty fast and on the highway at a high rpm it flew.but shortly after i put my 1st set of rims on(18s chrome pretty heavy) i noticed it was slower i thought it was due to the weight now when i bought the car it had 31,xxxx on it now it has 54,234 i havent driven it much in the 30 mos i have owned the car but anyway one day i got a SES light on and i bring it to my mechanic he runs the codes its a 02 sensor in bank2 but he reset it and the code went away he said if it was bad it WOULD come back. is this true or did reseting it make the car not throw a code? but anyway that was when i had about 42k on the car. now the last 2 months i have been driving another car which i purchased and the max has been sittn a lil much than normal. so i start her up drive to work maybe 6 miles. when i come outa work it starts fine then i put it in reverse and it was very rough idle and it was at 1100 which it normaly is like 800ish. so i go to move and it hesitates more then ever. then i go into drive and hit the gas the rpms go up alot and the car doesnt move. so i think maybe its my MAF? or my tranny? not sure on what to do wanna check it ou myself b4 i take it somewhere anyway could an o2 sensor do that or u think the maf is bad? i read some things that could be either or. also if u no any1 i can get an maf from cheep and some o2 sensors i would appriciate it if thats the problem. thanks for any help in advance

I just recently put a injen CAI on my car and when I got everthing put back together my car would'nt rev past like 4000 rpm at first and got worse as time went on. It eventually got to the point where it would not idle by itself. I took it to my local shop and found out that it was my MAF.I bought a new one for 120 bucks from my local Nissian dealer. Hope that helps you some
